Kotashima Black Rice from China is rich with flavor and history as it is an heirloom varietal that has deep black color when raw and purple when cooked. This Rice is unlike other medium-grain rice as it is not glutinous and only takes about 30 minutes to prepare. With an amazing nuttiness and high content of Amino acids, this is a great alternative to the standard wild rice.
